This is where I keep relatively up to date copies of the cast and crew of my various shows. Others are ones I created for quick guest spots or just because I was bored. Obviously this area is still under construction.

Walking in Shadow (Original Series)

Lexa2

Lexa Townsend-Pearce (played by Scarlett Johanssen)

Lexa is the scion of the Boyd-Townsend family, and heir to their legacy, something she really doesn't want. Called as a Slayer at age 16 thanks to Willow, she lost her parents to an "accident" at age 8, and grew up in the care of her uncle, Warren. She started Walking in Shadow as the shy, bookish member of the cast, but has grown into anything but. With the onset of her tantric abilities, Lexa has discovered her outgoing side. Now 25 and the CEO of the fledglingAstarte International, she's left the world of Slaying and has moved into something more dangerous: corporate politics. She's married to Dante, and they have a daughter, Jessica.

dante

Dante Pearce (played by Jensen Ackles)

Dante has been the solid rock of the cast. He came into town a motorcycle-riding, guitar-playing streetfighter, and that's pretty much what he still is. Sure, he got turned into a vampire for a couple of years. His wife found a way to fix that. Wife... there's something he never saw coming. When he first met Lexa, they hated each other. A year later, they were married and expecting a child. Guess some thing's do change. Doesn't matter, Dante takes it all in stride. At least his band is doing well. When he's not singing or modding his bike, he runs field operations for DSA Seattle.

dawn

Dawn Summers-Deveraux (played by Michelle Trachtenberg)

When she left Sunnydale with her sister, Dawn knew things would never be the same. Damn, was she ever right. After moving to Grizzly Peak to try out their university's anthropology program, she suddenly found herself acting as Watcher to Lexa, who at the time had no clue as to how she suddenly "got spiffy.". Over the years, she's tapped into the nascent power of her origins, grown into a powerful Sorceress, fought a demon queen, and is one of the few remaining Watchers left after the latest in a chain of recent catastrophies for that organization. Now she's the head of Occult Studies for DSA Seattle. She and her husband, Matt have a son, Nathanael.

mattmattolder

Matt Deveraux (played by Shawn Ashmore (Seasons 1-3); Sebastian Spence (Seasons 4-5)

Don't let the face fool you. Matt's been around for nearly 400 years that he can remember, and apparently been around a LOT longer than that. Matt met everyone while masquerading as a high school student in Grizzly Peak, but soon abandoned his charade, not that any of them really bought it. Actually a de-scended Ancient, Matt is a psychic who uses his gifts to try and prevent the never-ending series of Apocalypsi, which left him a bit jaded and cynical. Well, at least until he met the irrepressible Ms. Summer. He and Dawn got married in a dual ceremony with Lexa and Dante. After working for the DSA, he dropped the spell he'd been using to keep himself looking teenage, and resumed his more "normal" appearance. He died briefly in 2011, but was raised in secret by the necromancer Julia Delaney at the behest of Gen. Jack O'niell, Jr. His current job is the Director of the Department of Supernatural Affairs for the US government.

alex

Alex Hanover (played by Tom Cruise)

Another old fogie in disguise, Alex was a Puma Totem Warrior charged with guarding the Hellmouth beneath Grizzly Peak by the Diroc tribe over 200 years ago. After spending a century playing gladiator in a demon dimension, Alex became a new kind of chosen champion, called the Sentinel and helped close the Hellmouth once and for all. Needing to find his new place in life, he joined the Atlantis expedition for a few years, and came back changed. His focus has moved from the occult to the quantum, and is fascinated with the new technologies offered by the unveiling of the Stargate Program. On the downside, he has the worst luck with women, and, being a bit of a traditionalist, is frustrated by the "free love" attitude the group seems to have developed over the years. He headed the DSA for the duration of Matt's "death", but has now returned to his position as head of Op-Tech.

arianna

Arianna Dawes (played by Amber Tamblyn)

The proverbial daughter Alex never knew he had, Arianna was introduced to the group as a up-and-coming reporter investigating her own lost parentage. She quickly picked up on the group's unique nature, but actually managed to keep her mouth shut on the subject. At least until the supernatural got outed in 2006, then she was the first to print with her exclusive story. She nearly died and was saved by being turned into a vampire by Dante. She got into the Dark Avenger lifestyle, but the bloodthirst got to her, and when Lexa offered to cure her and Dante, she didn't even hesitate. Now she's a dhampyr who works field operations for the DSA and just happens to be one of their best hackers.

kei

Kei Santo (played by Olivia Lufkin)

Kei is a Eurasian Slayer and Dante's first love, back from before he came to Grizzly Peak. She shares his passion for things that go very very fast and music. There was some tension between her and Lexa at first to say the least, but now the two are best friends and more. Kei is the quiet, observant woman in the corner who says little, but when she does speak, the rest listen. Nominally, she's the lead singer of the wildly successful goth-rock band, Temptation. This last year, she suddenly came into possession of a mysterious bracelet called the Witchblade, which has turned her life upside down. Certain parties are worried that if such a powerful artifact felt the need to choose such a naturally powerful wielder, then dark times must be iminent.

dahlia

Dahlia Townsend (played by Bobbie Philips)

Dahlia is the mother of Lexa, who died in a plane crash when her daughter was 8 years old. That's the official story. The truth is that Dahlia was sacrificed on the altar of her husband's greed, as he conspired to take the mantle of head of the Boyd-Townsend family from Warren Townsend. However, Dahlia turned out to be the central figure in an ancient prophecy, and certain people were unwilling to let her die, leaving that prophecy unfulfilled. Raised from the dead in a necromantic ritual gone wrong, Dahlia became an undead killing machine the underworld nicknamed the Black Widow. She eventually fulilled the prophecy, and passed on. Yet her story doesn't end there. Almost a year later, a counterpart from an alternate reality came here, seeking the twisted versions of the gang who had come ahead of her. When she failed to stop them and they fled back to their home, Alt-Dahlia was left trapped here. She chose to make the best of things, and was eventually restored to life. She lost much of her power, but retains her skills which she uses as the Head of Security for Astarte International. When the series ends, she and Tamara are finally wed, and her life of death and carnage is behind her, as she embraces her newfound family.

jackrda

Jack O'niell, Jr. (played by Michael Welsh and Richard Dean Anderson)

Don't call him Junior! Jack is the alien clone of an Air Force General. No, really! Stuck in the body of a 17 year old, Jack decided to get as far away from his older counterpart and his old life and moved to Grizzly Peak to get some peace and quiet. That didn't last a week when he ran into the gang and discovered that vampires, werewolves, and demons weren't just sci-fi fair. Still, he got over it. It was less ridiculous than aliens coming to Earth, building the Great Pyramids, and masquerading as our gods of myth. Eventually, Jack got tired of the angst and drama that seemed to trail the group everywhere, and managed to join the Atlantis Expedition as an advisor. There, he had a too-close encounter with a Wraith and suddenly found himself back in his mid-thirties. In 2008, he took over as Head of Homeworld Security for the United Nations, replacing his "dad" who finally got to retire. When the series ends, he's finally retired himself, after decades of service.

dominic

Dominic "Marcus Novalis" Van Helsing (played by Christian Bale)

Dominic is a dhampyr with a secret. The child of the demon hunter, Van Helsing, his mother was attacked by Dracula while carrying him, and it somehow altered the unborn child. After the mother died giving birth, Van Helsing raised him in the family trade. One day, dear dad went out and never came back. Dominic changed his identity and carried on the family business (as well as developing a stock portfolio). He doesn't discuss his parentage, or even his true nature with anyone else. Its fairly obvious he's not human, but his exact nature is a mystery to everyone. Over a hundred years old, he's exceptionally well-invested and has moved to Chicago to hunt down an old nemesis who has eluded him for most of his life.

heath

Marcus "Jack Winters" Donovan (played by Heath Ledger)

Marcus is a former Watcher. He was assigned to keep tabs on one Heather Morris back in 1994. She reached 18 without incident and none of the auguries pointed to her being the new Slayer, but the auguries were wrong, and this 24yo neophyte Watcher suddenly found himself responsible for the Slayer. Her tenure was brief as the Cult of Beleth tried to bring their "goddess" to this plane. The ritual wound up killing most of her hometown of Denton, CO and she herself died stopping Beleth from manifesting. Jack was the only survivor. He quit the Watchers, and moved to Chicago. He cut all ties with the Watcher's Council and doesn't know what was happening in Sunnydale. He is also a minor Warlock.

Kaylen Cavanaugh (played by Kiera Knightley)

Kaylen is a Slayer who was Called the same night as the town of Sunnydale ceased to exist. She's a freshman history major at the University of Chicago, where her father is the Department Head. She's very smart, and has a thing for the occult. She works in Winters Rare Tomes, run by one Jack Winters. Her father, Thomas, is actually the head of the local branch of the Initiative. This revelation, along with what she feels as a lifetime of neglect, has driven her into self-imposed exile from her family. She currently resides with Dominic Van Helsing and regards her Watcher as more of a father than her biological one.

nate

Nate Gray (played by Eric Mabius)

Nathan is a member of the Initiative gone AWOL. During an operation in South America, his unit hit a tribe of demons in the Andes. Gray stumbled across the tribe's shaman in the middle of casting a spell and hit his hutt with a grenade. He stumbled as he turned to jump clear and the whole thing went up in his face. He spent the next 2 months in a coma. When he woke up, he discovered that he could pick up on the emotions of everyone one around him, and could get flashes of thought and events off people and items if he touched them. More disturbingly was whenever he gets nervous or upset, things tend to fly across the room and lightbulbs explode. These episodes are usually accompanied by migraine headaches. Knowing of Dr Maggie Walsh's old program, he decides not to wait around and see if the Initiative decides to help him or vivisect him, so he slips out, taking some military hardware with him. He makes his way to Chicago, knowing the University of Chicago has an Initiative branch dealing in magic artifacts and research, hoping they might have something he can "borrow" to cure himself.

nicoleta

Nicoleta "Nicole Valentine" Vladu (played by Amy Lee)

Nicolet is the lead singer for an exceedingly popular local goth-rock band in Chicago. Oh, and she just happens to be Dracula's daughter. Born to a mortal tavern wench shortly after Dracula himself was cursed by God, Nicoleta was born a dhampyr. She completed the transformation to a vampire when the people of her village tried to execute her as a witch. Dracula saved her, but the wounds from the mob took their toll, and she died and rose again. She uses her vampiric gifts and a few choice spells to give her a truly mystical stage presence, and thrives on the public life of a star, even only a local one. She finds herself attracted to the dhampyr Marcus Novalis, as he reminds her of her days as a mortal.

BtVS & Angel Cast Updates

illyria

Illyria (played by Amy Acker)

Former Demon-King of the Primordium, Illyria is now stuck in the body of one Winifred Burkle. She assists the gang of Angel, Investigations in her own... unique fashion. She was developing an odd rapport with Wesley Wyndham-Price before his untimely death. In Walking in Shadow, she used a crystal skull to pull Wesley forward in time just an instant before his death. Later, she assisted in the defeat of Nyarlathotep and regained her lost status. Her new understanding of mortals helps ensure that at least this God-King won't seek our absolute destruction. We hope. As she ascended, she abandoned her host body and restored it to life.

connor

Connor (played by Vincent Kartheiser)

Connor is Angel's handsome-yet-androgynous son, not that anyone remembers that. Despite his father's warnings, he showed up to help Angel and the boys fight off an army of demons in downtown LA, probably saving their lives. Now its 2011, he's all grown up, and is working on his Masters Degree in Genetics. He was working an internship at LexCorp when he encountered the gang of Walking in Shadow. He's been seen off and on again, mainly trying to pick up Kei .

gnarley

Nyarlathotep (played by Stuart Townsend)

Spent first season masquerading as the Djinn, a minor demon who grants wishes. Eventually, he entered into a partnership with The First, and the two began to torment not just the cast but champions worldwide. As Gnarly got closer to gaining his freedom in Season Two, he began a campaign of psychological warfare against the group, and used his "angels" to coordinate a massive assault against Earth's champions, to prepare the way for his arrival. He succeeded in finally manifesting on Earth, freed from his prison. There he was confronted by the gang, backed up by Illyria, former God-king of the Primordium, his former master. She did battle with him while the others destroyed the cult and artifact responsible for his freedom. In the end, Illyria died, passing her curse onto him, rendinger him mortal. He was saved from death by one of his "angels". His current status is unknown.

E

Jonathan "E" Essex (played by Dominic Purcell)

The son of Earl of Essex who was driven out by Alex's father and uncle in the 18th century, "E" grew up nurturing a powerful need for vengeance against that entire bloodline. He mastered magic and found a way to extend his life indefinitely to properly pursue his quest. Utilizing a mystical artifact that could suck the power out of one being and transfer it permanently to its wielder, "E" grew to be an amazingly powerful being, capable of ruling the world, if that had been his desire. Instead, he wasted his talent hunting down and killing every member of the Hanover bloodline, until he was ready to confront Alex directly. He was responsible for the death of Serina and stripping the power of the Slayer, Buffy Summers, and adding it to himself. Alex managed to defeat him and destroy the artifact, but not before some of "E"'s power was transferred into him, including that of a scorpion totem spirit and a fragment of the Slayer's power.

uriel

Samuel "Uriel" Pearce (played by Julian McMahon)

"Uriel" played the role of a major figure, but in reality he was little more than a pawn of the First. The surge that raised Tamara and Dahlia raised him as well, though rather than being found by OSI, he was taken by the First and fed a bellyful of lies to turn him into its latest avatar. While waging a war against the Luthor family, he assembled a collection of artifacts whose true purpose was to come together in an infernal machine that would allow the First to finally come forth unto this plane. He was protected, so he could only be harmed by a member of his own bloodline. For that, he abducted his own granddaughter, Jessie. He eventually died at the hands of his own son, Dante, whom everyone believed was dead.
